Data Insights: Forest Recreation and Coastal Erosion for England
OVERVIEW:
LandHawk’s data offering has been updated to include additional datasets relating to Forest Recreation and Coastal Erosion for England. These complement the equivalent sets for Wales and Scotland.
WHAT DATASETS HAVE BEEN ADDED / UPDATED?
● Forest Recreation Areas (England) (Total: 1,198)
● Forest Recreation Points (England) (Total: 24,761)
● Forest Recreation Routes (England) (Total: 1,172)
● Coastal Erosion (England) (Total: 12,706)
WHY HAVE THESE DATA BEEN ADDED?
These data have been added to SiteFinder in line with the existing datasets in the same categories for Wales and Scotland. This will allow our clients to now perform analysis against forest recreation and coastal erosion impact throughout mainland UK.
WHO WILL BENEFIT?
As with most datasets accessed through LandHawk, all users will have full access to the new data.
They will be of particular interest to those working on development projects including housing, renewable energy sites or infrastructure projects across England. As with our equivalent data for Scotland & Wales, LandHawk customers can now use our SiteFinder tool to build forest or coastal erosion searches in England based on site suitability criteria and associated risks, constraints and impact. Also, our custom draw polygon feature allows users to create sites that either sit within an HMLR parcel or incorporate multiple parcels.
