LandHawk – Responsible Land Development Made Easier.

It’s official, LandHawk has landed!

Wednesday 25th September 2019 will be a day that lives in the memory of all of us at LandHawk. After 10 months of hard work, up’s and down’s, it all came down to a couple of hours at WORKSHED, Swindon where like minded professionals in the land development sector came together to celebrate the launch of LandHawk.

To our immense pleasure the evening was very well attended, better than we had ever hoped for. Everyone in the room enjoyed networking and sharing experiences within the sector. Many were simply excited that they didn’t have to travel to London to network with their peers or learn more about the latest Real Estate technology offering.

LandHawk demonstrations were provided by Nick Duggan, LandHawk CTO

Homes England, Swindon Borough Council, Land & New Homes Network, Ordnance Survey, Dataloft, Greystoke Land and Barbour ABI were just some of the organisations that were represented in the room showing the high calibre that LandHawk attracts. Land & New Homes Network in particular were well represented and I want to personally thank you guys for all your feedback on our 10 month journey. There a lot more to come.

LandHawk itself was also in fine form and I personally thank Nick Duggan, Dave Hartnoll and Shaun Landy for all of their hard work on getting our software to this point. Nick was able to give many demonstrations during the night whilst I was able to talk to as many of our friends in the room as possible to understand what they need out of technology like LandHawk. I am a firm believer that as geospatial experts, we owe the Real Estate and Property industry much better and reliable access to the plethora of data that’s out there. This is just the start. Our mission is to build a platform that is flexible for our customers and partners needs. We don’t want LandHawk to be constrained to just what we think the industry needs, it needs to work hard for the professionals who deliver our residential and commercial infrastructure and help the UK hit the governments house building targets.

Whats next? Well, we are taking a deep breath and heading head first into adding more functionality based on our user feedback. We also have our awesome 3D Housing Generation tool, that we presented at FOSS4G 2019 in Edinburgh going live very soon. We will release this tool to our early adopters to play with (and break) and feedback how they might be able to use and get value out of this type of technology. If you don’t know much about 3D modelled houses, you will do soon!

For me, its off to EA Masters, presented by Property Academy along with principle sponsors Rightmove. I will be in the exhibition hall, available for a chat and a LandHawk demo. I will try to pen something on this in the next few days.

Speak to you all soon

Tim
